RED CROSS SERVICE CLUB
CO-OPERATION APPRECIATED. LETTER FROM ORGANISER. Under date of March 9, Mrs G. C. Williams, chairwoman of the advisory committee to the American Red Cross Service Club, has received the following letter from Miss Hannah Moore Fraser, of the American Red Cross organisation:— “Will you please convey to all the volunteers and to the members of the advisory committee my most heartfelt thanks for their wonderful co-opera-tion in opening the Masterton service club. I want them to know that without their help the clyb pould not run and that they play a very important part in our operations. My special thanks to the ladies who arranged the flowers on the opening day. Everyone present remarked that they had never seen more beautiful flowers nor such artistic arrangement. These comments are from the military officers from Wellington as well as from other visitors. It is really a grand club and I have every confidence that it will prove a Godsend to servicemen in the district.”
