MASTERTON CLUB MEETING LAST NIGHT. SUCCESSFUL COMPETITORS. The Masterton Swimming Club held its weekly competitions last night in the Dixon Street Baths, under very adverse weather conditions. Ihaka 2, M.Stewart 3; time, 19secs. 25 yards breaststroke: B. McCormack 1, Y. Ihaka 2, M. Stewart 3; time, 25secs. Intermediate boys: 75 yards freestyle: F. Sexton 1, L. Wickens 2, Colin Thorne 3. 50 yards freestyle: F. Sexton 1, L. Wickens 2, Colin Thorne 3; time, 32 l-ssecs. Men: 50 yards freestyle: R. Clay 1, J. Barnes 2; time, 30secs. 100 yards freestyle: J. Barnes 1, R. Clay 2; time, 73 l-ssecs. F. Sexton, of the Masterton Club, will leave Masterton for Nelson on Friday to represent Wellington at the Nelson championships.
