SALE AT MASTERTON. INCREASE IN TWO-TOOTH EWES VALUES. The Masterton Associated . Auctioneers report as follows on their weekly sale at Masterton yesterday:—A fair attendance of buyers were present for a mixed yard comprising mainly store ewes and lambs. For good to medium conditioned 2-tooth ewes, increased values of Is 6d to 2s per head were realised on previous sales, the balance of the yarding sold at late rates. The following will indicate values received: —Store ewes: Two-tooths, 26s 9d, 26s 6d, 24s 9d, 24s 3d; others, 18s to 21s; 4 and 6-th. ewes, 25s 7d, 19s 3d, 16s; maiden 4-th. ewes, 28s; 4-yr. ewes, 17s 6d; 5-yr. ewes, 15s 6d, 13s 3d, Ils 7d; others, 3s Id to Ils 7d. Store wethers: Two-tooths, 22s 6d, 20s 6d, 20s Id, 20s; 4-ths., 21s Id; tailend wethers, 16s 6d to 18s 6d; woolly wether lambs, 15s Id, 14s 3d, 13s, Ils 8d; shorn wether lambs, 15s, 14s lOd, 13s 3d, 13s Id; small, 8s 6d; b.f. lambs, 17s, 15s 7d, 14s 7d, 14s 6d, and from 8s lOd to 13s 6d. Fat cows, £8 15s; vealers, £2 10s; yearling heifers, £3 6s. Draught horses, £2O to £22 10s; child’s pony, £lO.
