DEFENDED CASE

JUDGMENT FOR PLAINTIFF. Judgment for plaintiff was given by Mr H. P. Lawry in the Masterton Magistrate’s Couty today, in a defended civil claim, the Wairarapa Farmers’ Co-operative Association, Ltd., v. H. M. Morton and Son. Mr Lawry allowed the amount of the claim, £23 16s Bd, plus £2 Is court costs, £1 18s 5d witnesses’ expenses, and £4 3s solicitor’s expenses. Mr T. A. Cunningham appeared for the W.F.C.A., Ltd., and Mr R. R. Burridge for the defendant. The case was one concerning a commission on the sale of a property.
