J. Sapru and Mr Rajagopalachari, have issued the following statement: “Recent talks with Mr Gandhi have led us to believe that a move for reconciliation at the present juncture will bear fruit. It is our conviction that, if Mr Gandhi is liberated, he would do his best to give guidance and assistance in reaching a resolution of the internal deadlock.”
