ROOFS TORN OFF. TERRIFYING EXPERIENCES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, February 28. A whirlwind struck the Kaiapoi district at 11 o’clock today and did damage in a narrow strip from Clarkville to Kairaki, a distance of 10 miles, and finished at sea, where a waterspout formed.
