CHURCH SERVICES

• The usual morning and evening service will be held at the Baptist Church tomorrow. A special feature of the evening service will be the social gathering to which all servicemen are invited. Tomorrow at St. Matthew’s Church will be celebraed the annual ’ Harvest Thanksgiving. Holy Communion will be at 8 a.m. In the morning and evening the Rev. I. C. Edwards will preach. The service at Kuripuni will be conducted by Mr J. F. Jaine. There will be no celebration of the Holy Communion at Upper Plain tomorrow. The Rev. I. C. Edwards will conduct a service at the public hospital. At the Salvation Army services tomorrow Bible addresses will be given by well known retired officers. At the Masterton Methodist Church tomorrow the morning service will be conducted. by Mr F. H. Parker during which a youth workers’ dedication service will take place. The subject of the address will be “The Challenge of Youth.” In the evening the Rev. Albert Blakemore, of Gisborne, will preach, his subject being “On Going, to one’s own Place.” Mr H. Batpup will be the preacher at the Kuripuni Methodist Church at 7 p.m.
