DISPLAY BY CHILDREN

AT MASTERTON CENTRAL SCHOOL. Parents and friends who attend the drill display in the Central School recreation grounds will be assured of an enjoyable time. This opportunity is provided to show the varied nature of the physical activities that are really incorrectly called “drill.” Those present should be delighted at the varied forms of activity taken part in by all the children from the tiny tots to the children of the upper forms. Great freedom of movement and dexterity of hand and eye will be in evidence and the running commentary by the area organiser (Miss Taylor) should provide added interest. Foik-dancing will be on the programme and there will be a special demonstration by a squad under the direction of the physical education specialist (Miss Sewell).
