GANDHI’S CONDITION

SLIGHT IMPROVEMENT SHOWN STRENGTH NOT DETERIORATING. PLANS FOR MORE ACTIVITIES. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.10 a.m.) BOMBAY, February 24. Gandhi’s general condition shows a slight improvement, says a medical bulletin. "Ureamic symptoms are less prominent. He is cheerful and his strength shows no further sign of deterioration. According to a European friendly society worker who saw him in the morning, Gandhi is already planning activities after the completion of his fast.

Mr Churchill, in a message to Mr Sapru, said the responsibility for the fast must rest entirely on Gandhi, and there can be no justification for discrimination between Gandhi and other Congress leaders.
