SUCCESSFUL DANCE

INTERHOUSE ASSOCIATION. COMPETITION WINNERS. I — The Masonic Hall, Masterton, was packed to the doors last night when the Wairarapa Interhouse Association held a most successful dance. There was a . large attendance of United servicemen who appeared to thoroughly enjoy themselves. The music was supplied by Mrs Ashton’s orchestra and Messrs J. Bruce and L. A. Askew were capable M’s.C. Miss V. Irwin played extras. A Monte Carlo waltz competition was won by Miss B. Harding and Mr R. Tait. A special modern waltz competition was held, the winning pair Being Miss Harding and Mr S. Tilalif. Miss B. Hirst was the judge. Supper was served by the Interhouse girls. The dance was admirably conducted,
