MASTERTON V.M.C.A.

SERVICE MEN ENTERTAINED. A successful function took place at the Y.M.C.A. rooms last evening when the executive committee of the association's ladies’ auxiliary as hostesses for the evening entertained men of the United Services. The spacious hall was brilliantly lighted and the floral decorations and prettily frocked young ladies mqde a, .bright scene. There was a large attendance, the hall being well filled with a happy company, who enjoyed the evening in dancing to music kindly supplied by an orchestra from the U.S. Marines and extras by two young ladies at the piano. Supper was served.
