THE LATE MR J. C. EWINGTON

LARGELY ATTENDED FUNERAL. The funeral of the late Mr J. C. Ewington took place yesterday afternoon, and was largely attended by residents of Masterton and the surrounding districts, being a splendid appreciation of the sterling worth of the late Mr Ewington, and of the public service rendered by him. The service at the residence Avas conducted by the Rev. I. C. Edwards, and at the graveside by the Rev. W. F. Stent, who had been associated with the late Mr Ewington in bowling and. other activities of a public and private nature. The Masonic service at the graveside was conducted by W. Bro. B. Iveson, P.M., of Masterton Lodge No. 19, assisted by Bro. E. G. Coddington (chaplain).
