CAUGHT IN BELTING
OF STONE-CRUSHING PLANT. NELSON MAN FATALLY INJURED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) BLENHEIM, This Day. Caught in the belting of a . stonecrushing plant in the Waihopai River bed, Joseph Thomas Jaspers, a married man, aged 30, of Nelson, received fatal injuries. The accident occurred at knock-off time on Saturday. After the engine had actually been turned off, Jaspers fell against the main belt and the last revolutions of the machinery dragged him round, inflicting terrible leg in- . juries. He succumbed shortly afterwards in the Waifau Hospital,
