Mr and Mrs H. M. Boddington have returned to Masterton after a visit to Gisborne, where they attended their son’s wedding. Mr H. M. Flaws, the Wairarapa Automobile Association’s patrol officer, has left on a holiday, which is being spent in Hawke’s Bay. Mr A. Grey Campbell, Auckland, has been elected chairman of Massey College Board of Governors, Mr A. Morton, Egmont Village, not seeking reelection. R.N.Z.N.V.R. promotions which are announced, a correspondent in London reports, include the following:—M. Geddes and K. Foster (Wellington) to be temporary lieutenants, and C. D. Burrows (Palmerston North) and J. V. Scott (Wellington) to be temporary acting lieutenants.
