Y.M.C.A. AUXILIARY

BUSINESS AT MONTHLY MEETING. REPORTS ON VARIOUS ACTIVITIES. The monthly meeting of the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Y.M.C.A. was held yesterday. In the absence of Mrs H. E. Pither, Mrs Bannister presided over a large attendance of members. A.report given on the hostess evenings held during the past month showed them to be highly succesful, and a new arrangement for conducting these evenings was reported on. A report from Miss Blakely, camp director, of the Y.W.C.A. camp ,was read expressing thanks to the Auxiliary for the garden party held in January. , A report was given on the Christmas Day party held in the Y.M.C.A. for men of the services. The annual meeting was fixed for March 11, and all nominations of officers are to be in the hands of the secretary by February 25. Afternoon tea Was served by the hostesses, Mesdaffies Mac Kay, W. Taylor and Mrs Hill.
