GLADSTONE
REPAIRS TO BRIDGE GOOD' PROGRESS BEING MADE. if (“Times-Age” Special.) The Wairarapa South County overseer reported at meeting of the Connell that good progress was being made With repairs to the Gladstone traffic bridge. Ten piles had been driven. He Stated that transport lorries using the bridge had created a serious problem, ds many as three lorties being on the bridge at Otte titrid. He thought it might be necessary to take steps to prevent sb much weight going across the bridge ait one time while repairs were being carried out.
