ALLIED MILITARY CHIEFS CONFER WITH GENERAL CHIANG KAI-SHEK. AND WITH MARSHAL WAVELL. LONDON. February 11. Allied military chiefs have had a series of conferences in China with General Chiang Kai-shek 'and in India with Field-Marshal Sir Archibald Waved. At the talks in China, which went on for four days, Field Marshal Sir John Dill represented China and Lieu-tenant-General Andrew represented President Roosevelt. The talks in India were attended by the United States Chiefs of Staff in China, Burma and India, by the chiefs of staff of the Army in India and of the Indian Air Force.
