WOODVILLE RACES. A POPULAR GATHERING. The Woodville Jockey Club will hold its annual meeting on Saturday, February 20, the first event starting at 11.45 a.m. Acceptances for all events will close on Tuesday, February 16, at 8 p.m. The Woodville Jockey Club is noted for the excellent management associated with its race meetings, and everything possible is done for the convenience and comfort of patrons. The club’s popular and capable secretary, Mr W. A. Lyon, has proved himself over a number of years to be the ideal official for the position he fills, and he has with him an exceptionally able band of stewards who have performed excellent service in keeping the club operating over a very strenuous period. The nomination of Corato in the Rua r hine Handicap (open sprint) at the Woodville meeting should read Parlato. The error arose in telephone transmission.
