HAUNUICROQUET CLUB B GRADE CHAMPIONSHIP. ("Times-Age” Special.) The final for the B grade championship of the Haunui Club was won by Mrs Symons, who beat Mrs Wilson, 17/26, 26/14, 26/18. In the A grade championship (Riddiford Cup) Mrs Watson beat Mrs Wakely, 26/23, 26/21. Personal Items. Mrs W. Feast has returned home from a visit to Wellington. Mr Tildesley, Mangamahoe, is visiting his daughter, Mrs S. Grant, Pahautea. Red Cross Society. Tine Pahautea-Kahutara sub-centre of the Red Cross Society class will take their lectures in Featherston owing to the difficulty in procuring a lecturer. COSY THEATRE “DANGEROUS MOONLIGHT.” Tonight the outstanding programme will be headed by “Dangerous Moonlight,” a thrilling story of the Battle of Britain, with Anton Walbrook and Sally Gray in the leading roles.
