LAVAL’S LATEST

TURNING OUT FAKE TRACTS. IN ATTEMPT TO DECEIVE. • Imitation is still the sincerest form of flattery. Clandestine publications and tracts have had such tremendous effect in France that Laval, unable to stop them, is now issuing fake tracts. Frenchmen were warned of these fake tracts by a recent broadcast in French from the United States. Titles, type and make-up are carefully copied and while the tract is apparently antiNazi, it makes Laval appear as a sort of saviour of his country, and the Allies not to be trusted. However, no Frenchmen will be deceived by these false tracts.
