TWENTY-FIVE GERMAN SOLDIERS. BOMB THROWN BY CYCLIST IN LYONS. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.50 a.m.) LONDON, January 29. A bomb thrown by a passing cyclist seriously injured 25 German soldiers in Lyons, reports the Swiss “Journal de Geneve ” • • Instead of chasing the cyclist, the police ordered the stoppage of trams and closing of all public establishments by 7.30 p.m. The paper adds that 2000 ration cards have been stolen from the Town Hall at Annemasse, in Haute Savoie.
