JUNKERS PLANES
TWO SHOT DOWN INTO BAY OF BISCAY. QUICK AND EFFECTIVE WORK ■ BY BEAUFIGHTERS. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 11.35 a.m.) RUGBY, January 29. Beaufighters of the Coastal Command this afternoon destroyed two Junkers 88s in the Bay of Biscay. Four Beaufighters were on patrol when they encountered the two Junkers. Each enemy plane was attacked by two Beaufighters and shot down into the sea.
