BETWEEN FRENCH FACTIONS INDICATED BY GENERAL GIRAUD POLICY TOWARDS JEWS (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 10.10 a.m.) LONDON. January 29. General Giraud, at a Press conference, disclosed that there was no prospect at present of a single French movement, reports the Associated Press of Great Britain's correspondent in North Africa. The only agreement between hjmself and General de Gaulle would be a liaison on military, economic ' and financial matters. Referring to the Jews he said he had no sympathy with the German views, but the question of North Africa was an internal' one, in which the world as a whole had no interest. He was willing to return property to the Jews of North Africa and to allow Jewish children to attend schools, but any moves must be gradual.
