RESIDENTS FAREWELLED MR. AND MRS. S. TANKERSLEY- 5 (“Times-Age” Special.) Matahiwi residents assembled at the School the other night to farewell Mr. and Mrs. S. Tankersley, who have resided in the district for over 30 years and are leaving to take up their residence in Masterton. Mr. F. J. Clarke paid a warm tribute to the many fine qualities of the departing guests and asked them to accept an afternoon tea set as a token of regard from the settlers.
