BREACH OF LIQUOR UAW AN ACCUSED FINED. (“Times-Age” Special.) At a sitting of the S.M. Court yesterday John Sinclair was fined £3, with costs 12s, for having control of liquor near the Morison’s Bush Hall on December 28 when a public dance was being held. Personal Items. Mrs Wilkinson, of Wellington, is the guest of Mrs F. V. Kempton, Main Street. Mrs G. Burns has returned home after a holiday spent in Wellington and Khandallah. Mrs Pasche and Misses Pasche, of Wellington, who had been the guests of Mrs A. Haigh, Humphries Street, have returned home. Mrs R. Pickard is spending a holiday at Hastings. Mr and Mrs J. Kiernan received cable advice yesterday from their son, who is at present in England, that he was fit and well. Mr and Mrs Alan Nisbet have returned to Greytown after a holiday spent at‘Dunedin.
