CROQUET
MASTERTON CLUB’S HANDICAP TOURNEY. PRESENTATION OF PRIZES. Ideal weather prevailed for the final stage of the Masterton Croquet Club’s handicap tournament, which was concluded yesterday. After some interesting contests the final game was between Mrs Finlayson (2) and Mrs Rigg (10) who defeated Mrs Scrivener (54) and Mrs Wilson Thompson (7£), the score being 26/17. Mrs I. I. McGregor, the club president, presented the prizes to the winners and runners-up, and congratulated the players on their success. The tournament was a most pleasant and successful one.
