RED CROSS SOCIETY FLAG 500 PARTY. (“Times-Age” Special.) The Red Cross Society held a flag 500 party on Saturday night, when there whs a good attendance. The room was prettily decorated. Mr L. C. Christie conducted the games. Mrs Scott presented the prizes to the following winners:—Ladies: Mesdames Edwards and Liardet. Men: Messrs A. Stewart and V. M. Anderson. The hostesses were Mrs McCalister and members of the Red Cross Society's Committee. Personal Items. The Rev. and Mrs Ives, who had been the guests of Mr and Mrs McAlister, Haswell Street, have returned to Okato. Mrs Olsen has returned after having visited Wellington. Miss M .Wilson, Stanley Street, is on a visit to Wellington. Mr John Bray, who has been staying in Eketahuna for some months, has returned to Fairlie, South Island. Mrs McKenna, Senr., Newman, who had been an inmate of the Pahiatua hospital as the result of injuries received when she fell through the door of a motor car, has returned home.
