Accident Case.

David Sime, aged 8 years, of 59 Totara Street ,Masterton, was admitted to the Masterton Hospital yesterday afternoon. The child tore his finger on a rusty nail. Patriotic Dance. In view of the forthcoming visit of the Royal New Zealand Air Force Band, cadets are asked to make a special effort to attend parades this week. Traffic Control Corps. Referring to the traffic control corps emergency regulations gazetted last week the Minister for Transport, Mr O’Brien, stated that the Traffic Control Corps was set up last year as a military organisation under the command of the Commissioner of Transport. It is charged with the function of controlling traffic in an emergency through all rural areas, and on the main routes through smaller boroughs. The corps, which is attached to the Home Guard, replaces the former emergency traffic police.
