The Wellington Racing Club’s meeting was concluded on Saturday at Trentham. Further records were established on the totalisator. The Douro Cup pool of £28,261 10s is a fresh record for a single race, and the day’s total was also another high mark, reaching £172,781 (win £65,544 10s; Pj ac c £103,236 10s).
