Mrs Arthur, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs J. J. Kennedy, Perry Street, Masterton. Mrs Cuthbert Free, Perry Street, Masterton, is staying at Paraparaumu Beach. The death occurred at Konini yesterday of Mr Henry Arthur Avery, at the age of 57 years. Mr G. H. M. Moir and Miss Moir, Wellington, are the guests of Mr and Mrs W. G. Lamb, Herbert Street, Masterton. Corporal and Mrs H. G. Bolton and family of Ngaio, Wellington, are visiting Masterton and are the guests of Mr and Mrs C. A. Greenwood, Cornwall Street. The friends of Mr and Mrs L. R. Wilton, Rangitumau, will be pleased to know that their son, Guy, who underwent' an operation in a private hos-. pital, a few weeks ago, is progressing satisfactorily.
