TWO ENEMY RAIDERS

DESTROYED OVER BRITAIN DURING NIGHT RAID BY SMALL . FORCES. FIGHTER SHOT DOWN OFF COAST. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 9.10 a.m.) RUGBY, January 21. Last night a few enemy aircraft dropped bombs on places in East Anglia and South-East England. Only slight damage was done and no one was injured. Two enemy aircraft were destroyed. An enemy fighter was shot down into the sea this morning by our fighters off the south-east coast of England. The Air Ministry states that R.A.F. bombers were out in daylight today. They attacked docks at Cherbourg and Flushing.
