COMPANY RETURNS. Gold Mines of New Zealand, Limited, announce the following returns for the first half of January:—Barrytown Gold Dredging. Ltd., 194 hours, 89.000yd5.. 1530 z.; Kanieri Gold Dredging, Ltd., 229 hours, 79,000yd5.. 4550 z.; Arahura Gold Dredging, Ltd., 142 hours, G7,oooyds., 2790 z. Returns from the Slab Hut Creek dredge were:—December 23: 350 z. from 13,000yds. in 80 hours. January 16: 1090 z., from 32,200yds. in 248 hours. The Mount Morgan Company estimates its working surplus for the four weeks ended January 13, at £7728. Gillespie’s Beach report a washup of 49 oz. for 199 hours and 21,888 yards.
