Hillybilly Logic.—The young man stood before the grizzled mountaineer. “Mistuh Shor,” he stammered, “I’ve come hyar to ask yer fer yer daughter’s hand.” The mountaineer knocked the ashes out of his pipe. “Cain’t allow ’ no such thing,” he drawled. “Either yer takes the whole girl or nothin’.”
