CARTERTON
SWIMMING SPORTS TO BE HELD ON MONDAY NIGHT. (“Times-Age” Special.) Members of the Carterton Swimming Club will' hold a number of competitions at the Municipal Baths on Monday evening. The first event will take place at 7.30 o’clock. Personal Items. Mr and Mrs W. L. DeLVcey, of Mount Eden. Auckland, who have been visiting Carterton, left this morning for Palmerston North and Feilding, prior to returning home. Lieutenant Commander R. E. Harding, R.N.Z.N.V.R., was a visitor to Carterton during the week, staying with his parents, Mr and Mrs L. J. Harding, Rexwood Street. Armourer Sergeant P. H. Beere, son of Mr and Mrs Phil. Beere, has arrived safely at his destination. REGENT THEATRE “ROAD TO ZANZIBAR.” An excellent picture will be shown tonight when Bob Hope, Bing Crosby and Dorothy Lamour will be seen in the principal roles of “Road to Zanzibar.”
