(By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 10.40 a.m.) LONDON, January 14. A great storm is raging over the Straits of Dover. The weather is the wildest of the winter, with heavy rain and the wind blowing at full gale strength. The temperature is dropping sharply towards freezing point. Radio messages from the Continent report tempests on the Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts of Spain, and heavy snowfalls in Danubian Europe. Storms have blocked the ports of Gijon, Corunna, Algeciras and - Alicante to shipping. Heavy snowfalls have blocked road and rail communications in Bulgaria and Rumania and caused widespread disorganisation.
