GIFT FROM UNITED STATES. FOR NEW ZEALAND FORCES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The National Patriotic Fund Board recently took delivery of 71 cases of tirhite bond paper shipped by the British War Relief Society of New York last year, following on an Anzac Day dinner. The board received a cablegram from the Anzac War Relief Fund, now incorporated with the British War Relief Society, announcing that as a result of the dinner, funds were available for the benefit of New Zealand forces, and it was asked how they should be expended. A reply was sent that it would be greatly appreciated if the money were applied to writing paper. The paper will nrovide almost a three months’ supply for the New Zealand forces. It is of excellent quality. A letter of thanks 'is being sent. Writing paper costs the board a considerable amount each year. For the forces in New Zealand and the Pacific alone it costs £40,000.
