The totalisator handled £146,775, compared with £87,224 10s on the corresponding day last year, an increase of £59,550 10s. The total for the meeting was £517,972 10s, against £271,343 10s for three days last year, and exceeded the record total of £511,455 10s for four days in 192021. INQUIRY INTO HORSE’S FALL" WIGGINS SUSPENDED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, January 10. Following an inquiry into the falling of| Miss Jose in the Bowen Handicap, the judicial committee of the Auckland Racing Club suspended H. N. Wiggins, rider of the winner Kinstep, for two months. The committee considered Wiggins crossed too quickly and caused interference to British Mint, Miss Jose, Black Majesty and Cherry’s Ticket. PAHIATUA MEETING TO BE HELD ON JANUARY 30. The Pahiatua Racing Club will hold its annual meeting at the Otaki racecourse on Saturday, January 30. Nominations for all events will close with the secretary (Mi J. G.
