OBITUARY

MR MERVYN BYRN.

The death occurred in Masterton this morning of Mr Mervyn Byrn, of Gladstone Road, Carterton.

The late Mr Byrn was born in Greytown in 1875, and was educated at'the Greytown School. He subsequently took up farming. Mr Byrn, who was of a retiring disposition, had been a patient in the Masterton hospital for some months. The sympathy of a wide circle of friends will be extended to his widow and two sons, Messrs Percy and George Byrn. Mr H. Byrn, of Masterton, is a brother.

The funeral will take place in Masterton tomorrow, leaving the chapel of Hyde’s Funeral Service, Ltd., following a service at 1.30 p.m., for the Masterton cemetery.
