BEQUESTS TO QUEEN
AND TO OTHER ROYALTIES. DAME MARGARET GREVILLE’S ‘ ESTATE. (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) LONDON, January 8. Dame Margaret Grevillc, who died last September, left £1,505,000, on which death duty totals £830,000. Bequests included Ml her jewels to Queen Elizabeth. £-0,000 to Princess Margaret Rose and £12,500 to the ex-Queen of Spain. She inherited her fortune from her father. William McEwan, a Scottish brewer. Her jewels are of considerable value and contain many magnificent pieces. They will be the Queen’s private property, as distinct from State jewels. Dame Margaret Greville was the widow of Captain the Hon. R. Greville. Her husband, who died in 1908. was the eldest son of the second Baron Greville.
