The following New Zealand air personnel serving overseas have been reported casualties by Air Headquarters, Wellington:— DREW, Rendel, L/Ac., seriously injured on exercises; Marlborough. GATLAND, Frank E., D.F.M.V F/Sgt., missing on operations; Drury. MONTGOMERIE, Leighton J„ Pilot Officer, injured in air raid; Sentry Hill, MUNRO, George F.; Sgt., slightly injured on active service; Balclutha. SMITH, Kenneth E., Sgt., killed on active service; Wellington. SUTHERLAND, Vernon E., Acting F/Lieutenant, killed on active service; Wellington. SWINGLER, Raymond J., Sgt., died of natural causes; Ashburton. WOOD, Hector R., Sgt., seriously ill (later removed from seriously ill list) ; Auckland. Reclassifications.
