REGENT THEATRE
“KATHLEEN” FINALLY TONIGHT.
The final screening will take place at the Regent Theatre tonight of “Kathleen,” starring Shirley Temple and Herbert Marshall.
“EYES OF THE UNDERWORLD.”
Action melodrama enthusiasts are promised a full quota of entertainment in “Eyes of the Underworld,” to be screened tomorrow night and Friday night at the Regent Theatre. Starring Lon Chaney, the picture has a distinguished sunporting cast, headed by such outstanding performers as Richard Dix, Wendy Barrie, Don Porter and Billy Lee. The story is based on the vipjpus and far-flung operations of motor-car theft gangs, since Uncle Sam clamped war-time restrictions on the sale of cars and tires. The associate feature is “Shepherd of the Ozarks,’ starring the Weaver Brothers and Elviry. Patrons who like good Hill-Billy humour and music should see “Shepherd of the Ozarks.”
