STATE THEATRE
“SPITFIRE SEES A GHOST.” Tonight’s programme will be headed by the outstanding picture, “Mexican Spitfire Sees a Ghost.” This is the best of the noted “Mexican Spitfire” series of pictures and abounds with the material which goes to provide an offering which should be especially appreciated by patrons. A strong vein of comedy is seen throughout the picture, and the presents entertainment of a very high standard. The, acting is clever and the various artists are well suited to their respective parts, while the settings are exceptionally good. There is not a dull moment in the picture and patrons who'are particular over their talkie fare should not miss this attractive offering. Lupe Velez and Leon Errol have the leading roles. The supporting picture is the mystery drama, “Scattergood Survives a Murder,” with Guy Kibbee, Wallace Ford and John Archer in the leading characters.
