RENEWED PROTEST

AGAINST GOVERNMENT ACTION IN KEEPING BACK ADDITION TO WOOL PRICE. FARMERS GETTING RESTIVE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Under instructions from the Dominion President (Mr W. W. Mulholland), the Dominion Secretary of the Farmers’ Union (Mr A. P. O’Shea), has handed to the Press a resolution typical of many from all over the Dominion protesting against the action of the Government in regard to the fifteen per cent increase in wool price granted by the Imperial Government. Mr O’Shea says there is considerable restiveness among farmers on this matter, aggravated by the Government’s delay in bridging the question to finality. The resolution again presents a call for a recognition by the Government of its moral obligation to pay the increase over to wool growers, and draws public attention to the manner in which the Government has ignored the rights of primary producers to receive the full price for their produce.
