RAILWAYS BLOCKED

IN OCCUPIED EUROPE. DEPREDATIONS OF ALLIED FIGHTERS. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 12.5 p.m.) RUGBY, December 23. Numbers of goods trains blocked military transport on enemy railways in occupied countries this morning. They had been damaged or wrecked by moonlight intruder aircraft of. the Fighter Command during the night, says the Air Ministry news service. The intruders, which included Hurricane bombers, Bostons and Whirlwinds, were the biggest number sent out by the Fighter Command for some nights, and all returned safely. Their operations ranged from Holland to North-West France and their targets included airfield?, railways, and marshalling yards.
