RAIDS ON CALCUTTA

DETAILS OF CASUALTIES. ONLY SLIGHT DAMAGE DONE. LONDON, December 23. The total casualties in three Japanese raids on Calcutta are 25 killed and less than 100 injured. The city has been given ample warning and fighters have never failed to go up. The number of enemy aircraft taking part in the raids is 'decreasing. In the last raid only three came over. Only slight damage was done. A few fires were started but these were quickly brought under control. .
