Moohan, national secre- [ tary of the Labour Party. She is the daughter of the late Mr E. J. Howard, ■ for 20 years M.P. for Christchurch i South, and is the only woman secre- : tary in the Dominion of a large industrial union. She has taken a promin- ' ent part in women’s war activities.
