RAIDS ON BURMA
DAMAGE DONE IN AKYAB ATTACKS MADE FROM LOW LEVEL. RIVER SHIP AMONG TARGETS. LONDON, December 22. R.A.F. fighters in Burma macle a low-level attack in the Akyab area. They damaged an aerodrome, a gun position and a river ship. Other fighters on offensive patrol shot down a Japanese plane off the Arakan coast. Two British planes did not get back.
