CARTERTON SALE. GOOD PRICES OBTAINED. Messrs Wright Stephenson and Co.. Ltd., report as follows on their Carterton sale yesterday:—A good yarding of sheen, cattle and pigs came forward and was offered to a fair attendance. Prices were good throughout and a total clearance was effected under the hammer. The following are some of the realisations:— Sheep: Prime wethers, to 22s 6d; fat lambs, 225, 245, 25s to 275; light fat lambs, 18s 9d,. 19s to 20s 6d; fat ewes, Ils to 11s (id; fat hoggets, 21s 7d to 21s 9d: fat b.f’s., to al.s 9d; cull lambs. 6s to 7s; small 2-th. wethers, to 16s sd; cull ewes,, shorn, to ss. Cattle: Springing heifers, to £7; springing cows, to £9 ss; fat cows, £5 ss, £6. £6 10s, £7 to £8 4s; forward cows, £4 Is. £4 6s. £4 10s to £4 16s; store cows, £2 10s to £3 12s 6d; cows and calves, £5, £7 2s to £7 ss; station cows and calves, to £8 7s; bulls, £4 17s 6d, £5, £5 15s, £6, £7. £7 15s to £9 10s. Pigs: Baconers, £4, £4 3s to £4 6s; heavy porkers, £3 to £3 ss: porkers, £2 6c, £2 9s, £2 14s, £2 15s; store pigs, 395, £2 Is to £2 3s; Mips, to 38s; weaners, good, 34s 6d, 365, 38s 6d to £2: weaners, medium, 31s to 335; choppers, 20s to 30s,
