MINES LAID
IN ENEMY WATERS - R.A.F. RAID IN BAD WEATHER. ENEMY FIGHTER SHOT DOWN AND ONE PLANE LOST. LONDON, December 17. R.A.F. bombers laid mines in enemy waters last night. A small force of planes raided targets in north-west Germany. The weather conditions were bad. One German fighter was shot down. One British plane was lost.
