STATE THEATRE
“MY FAVOURITE WIFE”
The programme to be shown tonight at the State Theatre will be an exceptionally, good one, and contains items tt) suit all tastes. In keeping with the policy to obtain the' best pictures available, despite the difficulties created by the war, the management has arranged for some outstanding features to be presented during the next few weeks. Tomorrow night’s offering will be “My Favourite Wife ” a picture which has much to commend it. A comedy drama marked for its clever presentation of interesting scenes, “My Favourite Wife” is sure to be nopular with the audience. The acting is of a high standard, this of course being expected when it is realised that noted artists portray the chief roles. In less competent hands the picture would become what the Americans call “a flop.”
